Wednesday Senior League Member,
Gentlemen,
Spring is in the air and it is time to start thinking golf! Warm breezes, birds singing, the smell of the grass, boy I can hardly wait. Yep, the 2010 River Oaks Wednesday Senior League is not far away.
The Wednesday Senior was organized for fun, meet others, enjoy the game and golf, and again fun. The league is non-competitive league, but has weekly prizes.
*River Oaks will host the Fifth Annual Senior Invitational on July 19th. We will have three divisions based upon ages. Over the years we have had over 100 seniors play each year. The Senior Invitational is a great day with lots of fun! I will follow with more details.
*I hope all of you enjoyed the “Assigned Tee Times”. Staff will do the same in 2010.
*Spring Meeting date April 7th @ 10am. Staff and members will discuss starting times, handicaps, weekly events, rain days, vote on business issues, open forum and more. This meeting is for Wednesday Seniors Only.
*Senior green fee rate for 18 holes is $19.25, if you ride it is an additional $10.50 per person.
*Staff will be posting results on www.riveroaksmunigolf.com.
The Wednesday Senior League is open to all senior males who are 55 years of age or older.
Dues for 2010 will $45.00 (same as 2009). Dues costs cover all handicaps and league prizes.
