Wednesday Senior League Member,
Gentlemen,
The Wednesday Senior League at River Oaks is coming I promise! Winter will come to an end, and the birdies will be chirping and flying.
The Wednesday Senior was organized for fun, meet others, enjoy the game and golf, and again fun. The league is non-competitive league, but has weekly prizes.
*River Oaks will host the 7th Annual Senior Invitational on July 16th. We will have three divisions based upon ages. In 2011 the Senior Invitational had over 120 participants; it is a great day with lots of fun! Mark your calendars; I will follow with more details.
*I hope all of you enjoyed the "Assigned Tee Times". Staff will do the same in 2012.
*Spring Meeting date April 4th @ 10am. Staff and members will discuss starting times, handicaps, weekly events, rain days; vote on business issues, open forum and more. This meeting is for Wednesday Seniors Only.
*Senior green fee rate for 18 holes is $19.25, if you ride it is an additional $10.50 per person (no increases to rates).
*Staff will continue to post results on www.riveroaksmunigolf.com.
The Wednesday Senior League is open to all senior males who are 55 years of age or older.
Dues for 2012 will $48.00 ($3.00 increase due to handicap cost increase). Dues costs cover all handicaps and league prizes.
2012 will be the second year of a three year process of sand bunker renovations. We are reshaping bunkers, adding new sand, manicuring, and add/remove sand bunkers.
New in 2012 will be a brand new fleet of golf carts with windshields!
